Sophomore line Backer, Rolando McClain, collected third parenthesis after leading the team with 91 tackles in Alabama and 11.0 tackles for losses (-44). This season, he faced the threat and other teams offense. He plays very well under pressure.
Jones was a rookie coming into the season, but his performance does not show anything of this kind, especially those in Tuscaloosa, where school freshman records for receptions (51), receiving yards (847) and touch low (4).
Arenas, half of the team All-America selection by Phil Steele, received honorable mention for his average of 14.42 per meter, the second in the SEC and 13th nationally.
