Pregnancy - Exercise After Pregnancy

In general, women can begin a formal training program within 6 weeks after delivery, but the period of May will be a little longer for some women, including those recovering from a C-section. Most women after a caesarean section will be able to exercise after the incision, it healed and the doctor has made available for exercise.

Just the speed at which you begin an exercise program will depend in part on how you feel. If you have an easy birth without tearing and few interventions and regularly exercised prior to birth, you feel a slight May exercise within 2 weeks after birth.

If so, your doctor in May that you can relax a little light in activities such as walking. Activities should generally be avoided however until several weeks after birth.

For some women, however, even light exercise in the weeks after childbirth is not possible. If you have an episiotomy or Tore heavy, while your body can not physically ready for an exercise program of at least 4-6 weeks after birth (note ... this is also how long most doctors recommend that women abstain from sex).

How long you begin exercising thus depends on your body and your unique situation. Make sure your doctor before taking a new training program, regardless of your activity before and during pregnancy.

Say that again, because it is important ... You need your health care provider if you want to embark on an exercise program. Your body goes through many physical injuries as a baby. Starting a training program as soon as possible, slow your recovery and May injure your body permanently. May it be more than six weeks to heal completely if you start exercising too soon.

Now, if you feel better and able to work six weeks before you go, do not hesitate to contact your health care provider. Most encourage light exercise including walking, and some in May encourage other types of activity particularly if you were active before you are pregnant.
